Instrument Flying

A total of 14 units of competency comprising:

  • 13 core units listed below plus
  • 1 specialist elective unit from the specialist elective units listed below. The specialist elective unit must contribute to the vocational outcomes of the qualification.

  2. Staff from our Admissions Team will contact you for a discussion. This is an opportunity for you to ask questions and for us to assess your potential suitability to undertake the course.
  3. If you are assessed as being potentially suitable, we will arrange an interview with our School Manager/Instructor interview team.

  • Your Enrolment is with Aviation Australia. The decision as to whether to issue an offer to you is solely at the discretion of Aviation Australia
  • Any recommendation made by us to Aviation Australia to offer a place on a course needs to be submitted at least 4 weeks before the course start date. This means that you need to start the above process with us AT LEAST 6 weeks before any course start date.
